SAWADA pieces are treated with an anti-tarnish coating to help protect against tarnishing and scratches, yet it is still important for you to follow our care instructions to maintain and preserve the shine.

We recommend that the jewelry be removed before going to bed or participating in extreme physical activities. Exposure to certain harsh chemicals or environments will result in compromising the radiance of your jewelry. This includes, but is not limited to the following: perspiration, perfumes, cleaning agents, chlorine, salt water, and silver polish.

Using a small, slightly damp, soft cloth lightly polish your jewelry until the shine has visibly improved. If the dirt is hard to remove, soak the jewelry in clean water. Gold plated jewelry requires more care, using cloth roughly may cause the gold plating to fade away, therefore it is very important that this process is done gently to avoid the gold plating from wearing away.
